Looking for: SPED Tutor for Child with Down Syndrome

We are looking for a Special Education (SPED) Tutor to provide one-on-one support for our brother, a child with Down Syndrome. The ideal candidate for this position must be patient, compassionate, and has experience working with children with special needs.

Location: Quezon City

Schedule: 3 sessions per week, 2 hours per session

Salary: Php600 per hour

• Conduct one-on-one SPED sessions tailored to the child's needs (academic, communication, social, and life skills).
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to fit learning pace and style.
• Support behavioral and social development in a positive manner.
• Track progress and communicate updates with the family.
• Provide engaging, structured, and encouraging learning sessions.

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related field (preferred).
• Experience working with children with Down Syndrome or other developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of individualized teaching strategies and behavior management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring, and adaptable personality.

• Must be reliable and consistent with schedules.
• Ability to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
• Willing to coordinate with family regarding child's needs and progress.
• Must hold a current Working with Children clearance.
