Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Senior Business/System Analyst with 5+ years of proven experience to gather, analyze, and document requirements, design workflows, and ensure successful system integrations. The ideal candidate has leadership experience, can mentor junior analysts, and drives clarity and alignment across project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions and document business and system specifications.
  • Create clear and structured diagrams, workflows, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Co-lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement clarification discussions.
  • Mentor or guide junior analysts and ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integrations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.
  • Identify and resolve potential business or system issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Validate delivered solutions against requirements and acceptance criteria.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business/system analysis with demonstrable senior-level experience.
  • Proven experience leading a small team or mentoring junior analysts.
  • Proficiency in creating process diagrams, workflows, and documentation tools.
  • Strong ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Solid understanding of system integrations and software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
  • Experience participating in or co-leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement clarification discussions.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Leadership certifications or proven experience in team management.
  • Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile-related certifications.
  • Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
  • Experience working on projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
