Overview

We are seeking a highly capable System/Business Analyst to support a complex product initiative from requirements definition through delivery. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that business needs are accurately captured, translated into clear technical specifications, and properly validated throughout the development lifecycle. This position requires strong analytical capability, exceptional documentation quality, and the ability to drive alignment across both business stakeholders and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation for new features, enhancements, and system integrations.
  • Translate business needs into well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Create detailed process flows, sequence diagrams, data mapping documents, and integration logic to support engineering and QA teams.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, technical leads, developers, QA teams, and external partners to ensure requirements are well understood and fully traceable.
  • Co-lead sprint ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, prioritization discussions, and requirement clarification sessions.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, validating outputs against requirements, and coordinating sign-off.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and requirement dependencies, proactively raising concerns and driving resolutions.
  • Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and the technical team to maintain alignment, manage expectations, and ensure delivery outcomes match business goals.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a System Analyst or Business Analyst at a Mid to Senior level.
  • Strong proficiency in creating systems diagrams, workflow charts, process maps, and documentation assets using industry-standard tools.
  • Advanced competency in requirement gathering, functional documentation, and structured writing.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and complete user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile standards.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and interface behaviors.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience facilitating or co-leading Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
  • Familiarity with API structures, technical constraints, and system architecture basics.
  • Background in supporting QA or UAT processes.
