The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting audits and compliance activities. This role works closely with senior management to support decision-making and maintain financial integrity.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Support external and internal audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to inquiries.
  • Evaluate and improve accounting systems and procedures.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and data accuracy.
  • Assist in implementing new accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with standard working hours (some overtime may be required during month-end/year-end closings).
