About the role

LMTP Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Tooling Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Calamba City, Laguna. As a Tooling Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our tool and die manufacturing operations. This is a full-time position that offers competitive remuneration and excellent growth opportunities within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the daily operations of the tool and die manufacturing department, including scheduling, prioritising and monitoring production activities
  • Ensure that all tools, dies, and other manufacturing equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to design and develop new tools and dies to meet the evolving needs of our clients
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the manufacturing process, implementing corrective measures as necessary
  • Provide training and guidance to the tool and die manufacturing team, promoting continuous improvement and skill development
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing operations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and best practices in the workplace

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar tooling supervisor or manufacturing management role
  • Extensive knowledge of tool and die design, manufacturing processes, and quality control methods
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address issues in the production process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in the use of manufacturing software and tools, including CAD/CAM systems
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
