JOB SUMMARY:

This role will be responsible for leading and/or managing medium to large projects across different time frames in compliance with the existing Enterprise Project Management framework of the bank. An individual overseeing the day-to-day execution of a Project. Key to note is that the role covers the entire Project and not just Business or IT. Drives the daily execution of the Project on behalf of the Project Director.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management

  • Daily Project management throughout the Project life cycle
  • Defining the Project governance (controls) and ensuring key governance processes like daily Scrum of Scrum (SoS), weekly status meeting, bi-weekly/monthly SteerCo meetings are done and supporting reports are produced
  • Planning the overall Project and monitoring the progress
  • Managing the Project budget
  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
  • Coordinating the Projects and their interdependencies
  • Managing and utilizing resources across the Projects
  • Managing stakeholders' communication & escalation
  • Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the Project "outcome"

Leadership

  • Able to provide vision and strategic direction to the project team
  • Lead and guide project managers, monitor, report and manage the project deliverables.
  • Provide and apply project management discipline in accomplishing goals.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to define, prioritize and achieve strategic objectives
  • Partner and handle relationships with internal business/segments and IT leadership to define and prioritize short and long-term objectives

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Years of Work Experience: years

Educational Attainment: Bachelor's Degree, Open to any field of study

Required Certification/Professional License (if applicable): Project Management (PMP, Prince 2), Agile/Scrum (CSM, PSM) certified or any related licenses

Knowledge and Skills Requirement:

Solid experience in Project Management and Change Initiatives

  • Able to translate data/insights into compelling presentations
  • High level of knowledge of Business and IT operations (internal or external), Project Management, Resource Management for both business and IT projects.
  • With knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies and project delivery, critical path resource allocations, and others. Experience of successfully leading large, complex IT projects or as consulting/management roles - Optional knowledge or experience of banking operations
  • Requires leadership and negotiation skills and experience/in-depth knowledge of the business, business requirements analysis and processes.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. With supervisory, organizational, and analytical skills. Good oral & written communication. Knowledge in project budget, technical management and understanding, analyzing information and problem solving, strategic planning and quality management.
  • Microsoft Office and Project tools skills.
  • Must be able to work independently. Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to establish strong collaborative working relationships with cross-matrix stakeholders at all levels, across the organization.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month
