Job Description:

  1. Separates PhilHealth forms from the Statement of Account of patient's discharged and process parts 3 & 4 of PhilHealth form 2 including exact amount of patient's bill.

  2. Process PHIC benefit of patient scheduled for discharged including checking of appropriate Relative Value Scale after evaluating the final diagnosis.

  3. Prepares summary of confinement days of patients.

  4. Records Medicare claim in the log book.

  5. Encode discharge patients in the computer.

  6. Entertains patient's inquiries regarding PhilHealth claims.

  7. Responsible for the preparation of monthly Medicare receivables report.

  8. Performs other duties as may be requested by management.

  9. Supervise Medicare Section.

  10. Review actual charges and detaches Form 2.

  11. Photocopies all Form 2.

  12. Reconciles all data in Form 2 with data in the Statement of Account and PhilHealth Form.

  13. Reviews doctor's name, PHIC No., TIN No., and professional fees.

  14. Attaches OR tech in forms of patients who were operated.

  15. Processes Form 2 based on patient's record including diagnosis from admitting, final diagnosis and ICD 10.

  16. Performs other duties as may be requested by management.
