About the role

CHINA WUYI CO., LTD., a Chinese State-owned Construction Company, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Manila City Metro Manila. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of our company's accounts. This full-time position will involve a wide range of responsibilities, from financial reporting and BIR compliance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Performing general ledger account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
  3. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  5. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred with salary negotiation
  3. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  5. Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet tools
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
