We're Hiring: Bookkeeper / Accounting Staff

Sta. Rita Maritime Services Inc. is in need of a Bookkeeper / Accounting Staff who is detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy. If you have a background in accounting and a passion for keeping financial records accurate and up-to-date, we'd love to meet you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and recording of financial transactions.
  • Maintain and update accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, and other accounting summaries.
  • Assist with payroll processing and government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Support the Accounting Head in audits, budgeting, and other financial tasks.
  • Ensure timely filing and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related 4-year business course.
  • With at least 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Knowledgeable in BIR reporting, payroll, and government contributions is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with confidential data.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are also welcome to apply.
