THE ROLE (Job Description)

As a Site Chemical Engineer II – Process Engineer, you'll be at the core of our Engineering and Technical Services Department, turning design concepts into sustainable water solutions that impact communities and industries nationwide.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Design water and wastewater treatment plant processes, including mass balance calculations, process equipment sizing, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs.
2. Provide technical assistance in the operation, maintenance, and proper management of all Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects.
3. Attend meetings and coordinate with clients' project managers, design engineers, and site engineers as the company's representative when assigned to a project or project site.
4. Prepare, send, and respond to clients' clarifications and requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
5. Prepare technical reports and other relevant documents required for the project.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and local support partners for requests such as quotations, clarifications, and submission of documents for equipment and materials required in the project.
7. Collaborate with the Technical Services Team in process design, strategy development, and troubleshooting activities.
8. Coordinate with other departments or teams regarding process design, material requests, service requirements, safety, and other related matters to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
9. Apply acquired training and technical knowledge consistently and effectively across all assigned tasks.
10. While on-site, regularly submit daily progress reports to the main office and immediately report any significant issues or developments to the immediate supervisor.
11. Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with authorized client representatives, contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth and productive project coordination.
12. Foster strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and continued preference for the company's products and services.
13. Maintain excellent customer and partner relations by ensuring that client needs—before, during, and after installation—are addressed efficiently and with high-quality service by the Technical Team.
14. Conduct product and process presentations for clients and partners when required.
15. Perform management-related work such as coordination, documentation, reporting, and liaising between clients or partners and HTPC to fulfill project requirements, submit formal requests, and prepare progress reports.
16. Perform other tasks necessary to ensure project success.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (Preferably a Licensed Chemical Engineer by the PRC)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants, or related process industries (e.g., petrochemical, industrial utilities, or environmental engineering)

• Proficient in:

• Process Design and Analysis (Mass Balance, P&ID, Dosing Systems, Flow Diagrams)

• AutoCAD, Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD, or other simulation tools
• MS Office Applications
• Strong grasp of DENR and DOH environmental standards, safety protocols, and ISO 14001 compliance
• Skilled in field supervision, testing & commissioning, and project coordination
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to travel and be assigned on-site as needed
