Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Define quality metrics and establish benchmarks for product/service quality.
  • Quality Control and Inspection
  • Conduct inspections and audits of construction materials, methods, and processes to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular site visits and inspections to identify defects, non-conformities, or areas needing improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits using appropriate documentation and reporting systems.
  • Prepare and issue detailed inspection and punch listing reports.
  • Testing and Analysis
  • Coordinate and monitor material testing and analysis conducted on site-by-site engineers to verify compliance with quality standards and project requirements through material testing and delivery monitoring sheets
  • Provides relevant information on available Quality Testing Services Providers ( e.g. Compressive Testing, Soil Testing, Rebar Testing, etc.) and Material Suppliers ( i.e. Ready-Mix Concrete Batching Plant) within the vicinity of the Project proposed by the Contractor so as to aid the assessment of the Construction Management Team in the approval thereof.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Training and Education
  • Provide training to project teams and subcontractors on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and legal requirements related to quality assurance and control.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards affecting the construction industry.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Relations
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders to address quality-related issues and concerns.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide technical expertise on quality assurance matters.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks to quality and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Participate in risk assessment activities and provide recommendations for risk reduction.
