JOB SUMMARY:
People Culture Unit (PCU) is a senior leadership role tasked with
integrating people, systems, logistics, and culture
to ensure alignment between Joy~Nostalg's mission and business strategy. The role is both strategic and operational, responsible for building a values-driven workplace culture while ensuring the effective stewardship of organizational resources. The VP–PCU will oversee the
Organization Management Group, Organization Strategy Group, Organization Logistics Group, and Communications Management Group
.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Culture
- Lead the
development and execution of people and culture strategies
aligned with Joy~Nostalg's mission:
Home the Homeless, Power the Powerless, Love the Loveleast
. - Drive
organizational transformation programs
, embedding Christude values, charisms, and competencies across the enterprise. - Champion
employee engagement, leadership development, and succession planning
to strengthen organizational capacity.
Organizational Integration
- Provide leadership and coordination across PCU groups:
- Organization Management Group (OMG):
workforce development, succession, organizational design. - Organization Strategy Group (OSG):
policy frameworks, strategic planning, and governance. - Organization Logistics Group (OLG):
administration, logistics, employee services, supplies, transport, facilities. - Communications Management Group (CMG):
internal communications, change messaging, and culture-building campaigns.
Stewardship & Governance
- Ensure
stewardship of resources
(human and logistic resources) optimizing use of facilities, logistics, and services while safeguarding people's well-being. - Oversee
compliance, risk management, and governance
of people-related policies and systems. - Manage general administrative services including
office management, transport, supplies, uniforms, workplace upkeep, and employee support requirements
.
Change & Communications
- Lead
internal communications strategies
to cascade culture, values, and policies across the enterprise. - Facilitate
change management programs
, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, structures, and initiatives. - Act as a
bridge between leadership and employees
, ensuring transparency, clarity, and inspiration in communications.
JOB QUALIFICATION:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Management, or related field.
- Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- 15+ years progressive leadership experience
in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or People Strategy. - At least
5 years in a senior leadership capacity
(VP, Director, or equivalent). - Strong background in
organizational transformation, cultural change programs, and leadership development
. - Proven experience managing
multi-disciplinary functions
(HR, logistics, admin, communications). - Exposure to
values-driven, service-oriented, or socially missioned enterprises
is a strong advantage. - Familiarity with the
Philippine labor context
, with global best practice perspective.

- Based at Joy~Nostalg Main Office with regular engagement across business units and sites.
- Requires presence in strategic planning sessions, culture events, and key organizational programs.
