JOB SUMMARY:

The
Construction Management Unit Head
shall be the overall lead for the construction management of all housing projects. The head shall be responsible for engineering, design, construction logistics, procurement, contracts management, and construction production. The role requires planning, management, and control to ensure the timely completion and delivery of various company housing projects.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for construction sites, logistical requirements, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety
  • Guarantees that all work are performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures
  • Ensures projects are constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
  • Reviews and approves procurement and contracts
  • Reviews project cost/change controls, budget, and accounting records.
  • Regular review of timings, budget, labor, risk, and project plans to ensure work stays on track
  • Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of all housing projects.
  • Submits status report of housing projects to senior management

JOB QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's/licensed or Master's of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related discipline required
  • 15-20 years of project experience working in the construction industry specifically in housing projects preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of building and construction
  • Possess leadership and multi-tasking abilities ensuring completeness, accuracy, and excellent quality of work
  • Possess conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite tools
  • Highly committed and passionate in pursuing exemplary performance
  • Courageous and with a high sense of integrity
