About the Role

We are looking for a first-class Credit Assessor to join the team. This role would be suited to someone who is passionate about joining a high-growth start-up in the fintech space, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

In particular, you will:

● Assess mortgage applications from application through to settlement

● Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to solve customer or broker queries

● Have input into process improvement and credit automation

● Manage priorities, SLAs and deadlines to meet team and company goals

● Ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures to ensure a high level of credit quality is achieved and maintained

A bit about you:

● Demonstrate financial acumen with a relevant background, understanding key metrics and residential lending.

● Experience in both conforming and non-conforming lending practices and policy is preferred.

● Analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and make informed decisions based on document verification.

● Friendly, energetic, authentic and bring a helpful approach to your work

● Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally

● Tenacious attention to detail ensures data integrity and identifies discrepancies.

● Excellent organisational and customer service skills

● You have a track record of getting it done. We are output focused.

● You are passionate to learn and develop, to get stuck in and to own your area of the business
