KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct end-to-end credit assessments on applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Review financial documents, including bank statements and business records, to determine creditworthiness
  • Maintain strict SLAs and KPIs while ensuring the quality of credit decisions
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and regulatory standards at all times
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth and efficient credit operations
  • Ensure the availability and accessibility of all necessary documentation
  • Follow through loan approvals to pre-settlement
  • Ensure post requests have been actioned before final approval

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 2-3 years recent experience in Australian residential mortgage loan assessment with an Australian based company is required, with individual approval delegations held.
  • Presents a good level of technical and professional skill / knowledge relevant to the role, whilst keeping up with current developments and trends in area of expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Positive disposition and can-do attitude
  • Keen attention to details
