We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parabroker to support our mortgage broking operations. This role is critical in ensuring smooth end-to-end loan processing, from onboarding through to settlement, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Client Setup
Monitor onboarding emails and follow up with clients missing documentation
Set up client folders, rename files, and complete document checklists
Request outstanding documents and transfer data into MYCRM fact finds
Call clients to gather missing information and prepare handover for strategy sessions
- Strategy & Credit Analysis
Conduct policy research and liaise with BDMs and broker support
Strategically communicate to find pathways to approval
Structure loans for optimal LVR, tax deductibility, and fee efficiency
Perform serviceability assessments across PAYG, self-employed, pension income
Consolidate debts using available equity and verify liabilities via credit reports and financials
Compare lenders based on servicing, process ease, rates, and deal fit
Deliver accurate and thorough handovers to brokers
- Lodgement & Compliance
Understand lender-specific input requirements and document protocols
Craft compelling broker notes that guide assessors toward approval
Manage e-signing process and follow up with clients for completion
- Managing MIRs (More Information Requests)
Pre-emptively minimize MIRs through strategic documentation and lender selection
Action MIRs promptly and challenge them when necessary
Provide information that aligns with the application narrative
Communicate requirements clearly and simply to clients
Complete forms and tasks to ease client burden
- Settlement Coordination
Send formal approvals to clients and solicitors, cc’ing brokers
Refer clients to insurance brokers for certificates of currency
Communicate settlement dates and send final settlement letters/emails
- Workflow & Project Management
Update and build workflows within CRM
Complete monthly projects to drive continuous improvement
- Spreadsheet & Data Management
Maintain tracking, referral partner, password, contact, and improvement spreadsheets
- Job Qualification
Must have minimum of 2 years experience as parabroker, loan processor or relevant role
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., MYCRM, Quickli, PropertyHub) and document handling
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and client management abilities
Deep understanding of mortgage lending processes and compliance
Strategic mindset with the ability to problem-solve and guide approvals
