About the role

HDEC-DONGAH JOINT VENTURE' is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Bonifacio Global City Taguig City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records and supporting the broader accounting function.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform a variety of accounting clerical duties including data entry, filing, and preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis
  • Provide support for the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and procedures

What we're looking for

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting clerk or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting or a related field would be an advantage
  • Willing to work in BGC office.
