- Reach out to customers by phone and mail to collect payments on delinquent loans, understand the causes of delinquency, and secure a promise to pay, either in full or through arranged installments.
- Accurately update account information within the internal computer system.
- Follow established protocols when selecting the appropriate collection methods.
- Create and discuss flexible repayment plans with customers, clearly outlining the consequences of non-payment in an effort to resolve past-due balances.
- Handle customer inquiries independently, addressing concerns related to payments and resolving related issues.
- Plan and prioritize future tasks, including setting up follow-up actions.
- Ensure all account records are thoroughly documented to support effective resolution.
- Consistently meet or exceed defined performance standards.
- Adhere to all relevant company policies and operational procedures.
- May be asked to assist with customer service responsibilities as assigned by management.
