Work Location: McKinley, Taguig
Primarily responsible for leading the sales team to achieve sales targets, directly influencing revenue and growth through effective management of the Sales team, business strategies, and client engagement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Develop plans and strategies for business expansion and achieving company sales goals.
- Work closely with Operations, Innovations, and AP teams to ensure pre-bid or bidding requirements are submitted on time.
- Manage the sales teams, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth.
- Define optimal sales force structure and manage hiring to scale the team according to market conditions and opportunities.
- Set individual sales targets with the sales team and track performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking sales goals, facilitating ongoing training, and monitoring execution.
- Conduct reviews, appraisals, and provide constructive feedback to drive high team performance.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Groups and Leaders to establish and execute sales goals for the subsidiary.
- Manage detailed reporting of sales metrics and KPIs, adjusting techniques and strategies based on data analysis.
- Compile and analyze sales figures, reporting insights to senior management.
- Stay up to date with products, competitors, and market trends in the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Attend networking and promotional events to develop and maintain customer and partner relationships.
- Understand customer needs and effectively communicate how company services meet those needs.
- Devise new strategies and techniques necessary for achieving sales targets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: BS/MA in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- Experience: At least 5–10 years of related 3PL sales experience, preferably in business development, contract logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Preferred Background: Candidates with a proven track record and promotion history in renowned global freight forwarding and logistics companies.
- Proven ability to influence decision-makers and close key accounts.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and transportation solutions.
- Ability to engage top management and drive win-win solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
