Join our dynamic Equity Derivatives and Trading Operations team and play a pivotal role in providing trade support services and corporate action events.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?
You will be involved in the end-to-end corporate actions event life cycle across cash, non-cash and elective events for all equity and fixed income securities. You will also manage withholding tax, associated internal reporting obligations and processing client elections, entitlements and counterparty claims. In addition, you will interact with external agents, custodians, clearers and depositories and respond to queries from various internal teams.

What You Offer

  • A strong background in the financial/banking industry with 7–10 years of proven expertise within corporate actions
  • The ability to investigate issues and escalate effectively
  • A strong focus on teamwork with effective communication skills
  • Self-motivated, independent and able to work well under pressure
  • Accurate with a good eye for detail and strong commitment to completion and delivery
  • Flexible to work outside of regular working hours when required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
