Werx enables semiconductor companies, Offshore Assembly & Test (OSATS) as well as Independent Device Manufacturers (IDMs), to analyze test data across the complete value chain (design, manufacturing, assembly test) and end application usage. We work with the world's largest semiconductor foundries (TSMC, SMIC, GlobalFoundries, etc.) as well as Independent Device Manufacturers such as Intel, Microsoft, Monolithic Power Systems, to name a few. Responsibilities & Duties:Lead the Philippines organization for yield

Werx.Leadership & PlanningProvide strategic direction and leadership to the Product and Test Engineering team, Customer Success team, and L1 support team based in the Philippines.Identify activities, milestones, success measures, and assign resources for the Philippines organization.Ensure the team is rightsized in light of yield

Werx growth plans. Establish L2 support and eventually software engineering, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams. Set up a physical office for the PHP teams when needed.

Team Development & Goal ManagementMentor and develop the Philippines team, creating career paths and rewards programs. Assist in sourcing new resources and conducting interviews. Regularly assess training needs and chart out annual training plans, including internal and external training and certifications.

Manage goal setting, tracking, and KPI monitoring for team members, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Compile quarterly and annual performance reports with detailed insights and analysis to guide individual development and team success. Facilitate regular feedback sessions to support goal attainment and drive continuous improvement.

Operational OversightOversee all operational aspects of the team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and on-time delivery. Review and approve weekly timesheets of the Philippines teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Manage their overtime.

Drive continuous improvement efforts in operational efficiency, productivity, and quality. Customer Success & Support ManagementEnsure technical support is provided to customers where and if needed. Oversee the implementation of yield

Werx's modules and ensure customer success with adoption. Engage with customers to understand their requirements, provide full support, and conduct training sessions to enhance product utilization. Ensure identification of gaps, usability, performance issues, etc., are properly captured and communicated to the product teams, the software development teams, and relevant managers.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with new customers, addressing their needs and ensuring high satisfaction. Support the development of collateral for sales and marketing, including brochures, use cases, and case studies by coordinating efforts between the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams. OptionalProactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the semiconductor industry, leveraging industry knowledge and network to expand the company's market presence and revenue streams.

Leverage network in Asia to promote yield

Werx to OSATs, Fabless companies, and IDMs.Actively participate in pre-sales activities, including demo calls and onboarding of trial clients.Actively engage with client's post-demo in pre-sales engagement with sales teams and senior management.Setup of new functions

Establish and oversee L2 support, Software Development, and QA teams based in the Philippines, ensuring they are fully integrated with global processes and meet quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative strategies to optimize workflows and productivity. Education & Experience:A master's degree or an MBA with a technical/engineering background is preferred.

Proven experience in managing teams delivering the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including creation of specifications, development, testing, and application support for enterprise software products or SaaS-based environments. Managing implementations of enterprise software products for clients both on-premises and in the cloud. Prior experience with yield management or semiconductor-related applications is advantageous.
