About the Role:
JuanHand is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead its credit reporting business in the Philippines. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, maintaining compliance, and ensuring high-quality delivery of products and services aligned with headquarters' direction. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the credit reporting or scoring industry and a strong network across financial institutions and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the credit reporting business in the Philippines, ensuring alignment with HQ directives.

  • Drive business growth, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.

  • Lead compliance efforts with all regulatory and financial requirements related to credit reporting and financial operations.

  • Build, develop, and manage strategic partnerships across the financial and fintech sectors.

  • Promote and execute business plans, ensuring delivery of innovative, quality products and services.

  • Stay ahead of trends in the credit reporting industry and implement responsive strategies.

  • Represent the company in key discussions with regulators, partners, and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the credit reporting/scoring industry, preferably with leadership exposure.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and financial compliance specific to the credit bureau ecosystem.

  • Well-versed in alternative data use and its impact on financial services is a strong advantage.

  • Extensive network with banks, financial institutions, and regulators in the Philippines.

  • High-level knowledge of Credit Bureau operations; background in banking or fintech preferred.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and regulatory bodies.

  • Fluent in English and Tagalog (written and verbal).

  • Filipino national preferred.

  • Willing to lead and scale the business within a budget
