We're Hiring: Controller (Full-Time, Permanent)

We're looking for a
strategic and detail-oriented Controller
to lead our accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in
project-based accounting
, excellent leadership skills, and deep familiarity with
Deltek Vantagepoint
.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting functions: A/R, A/P, GL, project cost accounting, and revenue recognition
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
  • Act as audit liaison and coordinate with external accounting firms
  • Support the business owner's personal, real estate, and investment accounting
  • Supervise and mentor accounting team members


Requirements

  • US CPA license
    (mandatory)
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint
    (required)
  • Familiarity with
    Paylocity
    (preferred)
  • 7+ years in accounting/finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of project-based accounting and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
