Role Overview

The Architectural Photo Editor is responsible for transforming raw visuals into polished, high-quality imagery that supports web-based tours, architectural presentations, and client deliverables. This role combines photo editing expertise, architectural understanding, and creative problem-solving. The editor will work closely with Project Managers, 3D Artists, and Supervisors to ensure workflow accuracy, consistency, and timely project delivery.

What You'll Do

Creative Execution & Visual Quality

  • Edit and enhance architectural photos for web-based interactive tours and client presentations.
  • Apply advanced color correction, grading, lighting adjustments, and retouching to achieve polished, consistent results.
  • Remove unwanted elements (people, objects, distractions) and add missing components to improve visual impact.
  • Ensure all outputs maintain realism, accuracy, and aesthetic quality aligned with studio standards.

Architectural Integration & Post-Processing

  • Superimpose 3D architectural renders onto aerial or ground images with proper alignment, lighting, and mood matching.
  • Perform 360° panoramic photo stitching for immersive tour experiences.
  • Create architectural floor plans and site development graphics based on provided references or guidelines.

Technical & Creative Problem Solving

  • Spot potential visual, technical, or alignment issues early and recommend solutions.
  • Troubleshoot inconsistencies in lighting, perspective, color, and integration across multiple scenes.

Collaboration & Workflow Support

  • Coordinate with Project Managers and 3D Artists to ensure alignment on expected output, style, and deadlines.
  • Participate in creative consultations, offering feedback and suggestions for enhanced visual outcomes.
  • Assist in drone shoots by guiding pilots on required angles, framing, and accuracy of shots.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on new photo editing techniques, Photoshop tools, architectural visualization trends, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Suggest and implement improvements that enhance speed, consistency, or output quality.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop (required).
  • Basic background with 3D modeling tools (SketchUp or 3ds Max is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of architecture, composition, and visual storytelling in built environments.
  • Keen creative eye, attention to detail, and strong sense of lighting and realism.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, 3D Artists, and cross-functional production teams.
  • Strong time management and ability to work within structured workflows and tight deadlines.
