Merchandising and Inventory Coordinator

JOB OBJECTIVE
· Responsible for the achievement of target of the store and disposal of aging items and damaged merchandise.
· Research and studies also about new items that may be displayed in the stores for the company to attain its goal and to gain profit.
· Prepares analysis and provides sound conclusions and recommendations to improve business.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SALES
· Meets or surpasses the sales target of the stores.
· Ensures the achievement of target of the store.
2. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
· Knows ways to sell and dispose of aging items and damaged merchandise.
· Knows and understands how to do markdowns and price breaks control.
· Monitors the movement of the merchandise to distinguish the bestsellers and slow-moving items; prompt analysis, feedback, and recommendation of said items.
· Consider which goods will sell well in particular locations, and at what customers are willing to pay.
· Monitors and controls the markdown and price breaks.
3. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
·Research and studies about new items that may be displayed in the stores for the company to attain its goal and to gain profit.
4. OTHERS
· Prepares analysis and provides sound conclusions and recommendations to improve business.
