About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to drive the development of our web applications and APIs. This is a hands-on role focused on coding, debugging, and delivering functional features using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. You will collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to turn requirements into reliable, high-performing software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain full-stack features using React and Flutter on the frontend, Java/JavaScript and on the backend, and GCP, Redis, and PostgreSQL for infrastructure and data storage.
  • API Management: Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs using Java/Jackson, deployed on GCP with Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling.
  • Database Management: Implement data models, manage migrations, and write optimized queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Collaboration: Participate in agile workflows, code reviews, and utilize project management tools to track progress.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field OR coding bootcamp graduates with strong practical experience.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of proven software development experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. We consider experience obtained from academic capstone projects and internship work.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in full-stack development using React and Flutter, with solid skills in JavaScript and/or Java for backend and application logic.
  • Experience working with cloud and infrastructure technologies, including GCP, Kubernetes, Redis, and PostgreSQL, as well as building and consuming RESTful APIs using Java/Jackson.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to debug complex issues across the front-end and back-end.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)

  • Active GCP Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer).
  • Proven familiarity with Agile development processes.
