NodeJS Software Engineer

Role Overview:

A Senior Fullstack Developer specializing in and TypeScript is responsible for the entire lifecycle of scalable web applications, from design and development to testing and deployment. This role requires strong technical proficiency in relevant technologies and modern development methodologies. The senior developer actively participates in all stages of development, provides mentorship to junior team members, champions best practices, and tackles intricate technical challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

Hands-on Development and Technical Execution:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable full-stack code , TypeScript, frontend, databases).
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop user-facing elements integrated with server-side logic for high performance and responsiveness.
• Implement application security and data protection measures.
• Build and maintain robust APIs (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software and resolve complex technical issues.
• Actively participate in all phases of the agile development lifecycle.

Technical Design and Architecture Contribution:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and systems for scalability and performance.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.

Mentorship and Collaboration:

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the engineering team.
• Collaborate effectively with Product, Design, and QA teams.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:

• Proactively identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and codebase.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of development practices and tools.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Analyze and resolve complex production issues to ensure system stability.

About You

You are/have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience (typically 5-8+ years) in full-stack software development, with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding.
• Deep proficiency in and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of their ecosystems.
• Solid experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, ).
• Strong experience with database technologies (both SQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL, e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) and data modeling.
• Proficiency in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring other developers and leading technical discussions.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced environment.
