About This Role
Were seeking a detail-oriented
Staff Accountant
to join our team and provide essential support to the Accounting department. This role is key to managing administrative and repetitive accounting tasks, such as Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), which will help reallocate workload and ensure the financial forecasting is reliable. Success in this position means quickly ramping up to full functionality within 30 days and ensuring timely cash management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including data entry of AP invoices, processing uploads into systems like Approval Max, and assisting with AR tasks.
• Support the expense process by assisting with tools like Expensify.
• Perform journal entries and assist with administrative tasks to help reduce the teams workload.
• Execute vendor statement reconciliations and process new vendor/customer additions.
• Work closely with the AR/AP Specialist and other team members to provide daily operational support.

• You have experience following set processes and policies, taking direction, and working independently to complete tasks.
• You have intermediate knowledge of Excel and Sheets, including the ability to do basic formulas and import/export functionality.
• You exhibit advanced English communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and the ability to adapt language for different audiences.

Bonus

• Preferred accounting knowledge and general business knowledge, including an understanding of how accounting fits into the business organization.
• More advanced knowledge of Excel/Sheets.
• Experience with accounting/AR/AP/ERP software such as Approval Max, Expensify, Salesforce, or Quick Books Online.

You Shouldn't Apply If

• You are looking for a role with primarily strategic or high-level accounting responsibilities and do not enjoy the administrative or repetitive nature of tasks like data entry for AR/AP.

Logistics

• InfoTrust is looking for a candidate who will work out of our Cebu City, Philippines office—fully in-person for the first 3 months and then with the ability to work hybrid.
