National Sales Planning Specialist

This is a high-impact, analytical role crucial to Honda Cars Philippines' (HCPI) overall success. As the Junior Specialist for National Sales Planning, you will be the central planner for assigned car models and accessories, directly influencing market strategy, sales achievement, and company profitability.
You will be responsible for translating market insights and demand into concrete, strategic sales and supply plans, coordinating efforts across local dealers and regional office.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will focus on three main areas: Forecasting, Strategy, and Execution.
1. Sales Forecasting & Supply Chain Planning (Niguri)
- Lead the development, presentation, and negotiation of mid-term and monthly sales plans (Niguri), covering booking, retail, and wholesale volumes for assigned car models and accessories, ensuring plans align with company profit goals.
- Manage the supply chain by proposing and submitting monthly order placement, production, and arrival plans to regional offices ensuring healthy and manageable stock levels for both HCPI and our dealerships.
- Monitor daily sales pace and monthly achievements, proposing timely countermeasures to ensure targets are met.
- Propose and monitor healthy stock targets and manage aging inventory to ensure inventory cost efficiency.
2. Strategic Analysis & Direction Setting
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on market trends, competitors, economic factors, and government regulations to set strategic direction and targets for assigned models.
- Conduct quarterly reviews to update targets and strategies based on evolving internal and external factors.
3. Promotion & Campaign Management
- Propose and manage effective monthly and special promotions for assigned models and variants, ensuring maximum utilization of budget while boosting sales performance.
- Collaborate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders (HCPI groups, Partners, Suppliers) to ensure the effective and timely implementation of all sales programs.
- Monitor program effectiveness, conduct thorough analysis, and report recommendations to HCPI Management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills are essential for forecasting, data analysis, and financial reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills; must be able to confidently present plans to top management.
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel for complex data modeling and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience or deep interest in the Automotive Industry is a significant advantage.
