The Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions across various projects. Reporting to the Cloud Solutions Architect Team Leader, this role focuses on executing technical tasks, supporting project objectives, and ensuring that cloud solutions align with organizational standards and customer requirements.

The Team Member works collaboratively with other architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions while building technical expertise in cloud technologies.

Qualifications:

Education

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.

● Cloud certifications are highly preferred (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Associate)

Experience:

● Not required but preferred with at least 1 year of experience in cloud services, IT support, or a related field.

● Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus but not required.

Skills:

● Knowledge of cloud computing, including cloud infrastructure, networking, and network security best practices.

● Excellent problem-solving skills, solutions development and analytical skills.

Job Description:

● Design Contribution and Implementation:

○ Assist in developing architectural designs for cloud solutions based on customer requirements and project specifications.

○ Translate high-level design concepts into detailed technical configurations and implementation plans.

○ Collaborate with Delivery Engineers to ensure successful deployment and integration of cloud solutions.

● Technical Support and Problem-Solving:

○ Provide technical support during the design and implementation phases of projects, addressing challenges as they arise.

○ Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for design or implementation issues, escalating complex problems to the Team Leader as needed.

○ Validate that implemented solutions meet performance, security, and scalability standards.

● Collaboration and Communication:

○ Work closely with the immediate head and other architects to ensure alignment with project goals and architectural guidelines.

○ Participate in meetings with Project Managers, Delivery Engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates on progress.

○ Communicate technical details and solutions effectively to team members and non-technical stakeholders.

● Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

○ Create and maintain documentation for architectural designs, configurations, and implementation procedures.

○ Share knowledge and insights gained from projects with the team to foster continuous learning and improvement.

○ Contribute to the development of best practices, templates, and reusable assets for cloud architecture.

● Continuous Learning and Improvement:

○ Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends to enhance skills and bring innovation to projects.

○ Actively participate in training sessions, certifications, and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.

○ Identify opportunities to improve existing solutions or processes and propose enhancements.
