About the Team

The Data Science team is responsible for the analytics and strategic planning of the company's key business areas. The team collaborates closely with Gaming, Marketing, and Engineering departments to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making at the highest level. Areas of specialization within the team include gaming, user growth, community, and business strategy.

About the Role

As one of the founding Data Analysts, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and owning essential data models, reporting frameworks, and analytical deliverables. This position requires advanced expertise in data manipulation, reporting, and dashboard development, experimentation, and causal inference, as well as the ability to generate insights that inform critical strategic initiatives and executive decision-making.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in internet data analysis and at least 3 years of management experience, with independent responsibility for data initiatives within core business functions. Demonstrated experience in team leadership and a proven record of mentoring analysts are required.
  2. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other tools used for data processing, quantitative analysis, and modeling. The ability to remain hands-on with coding and analysis while managing a team is essential.
  3. Strong structured thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the capacity to proactively develop expertise in new or unfamiliar areas.
  4. Exceptional cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multiple business units and to facilitate alignment across upstream and downstream teams.
