The Quality Assurance Manager ensures that all products manufactured by Cardinal Agri Products, Inc. meet established quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory compliance in accordance with company policies and applicable local and international standards. This role leads the QA team in maintaining, improving, and implementing quality systems and procedures for coconut-based products such as coconut juice, coconut milk, and virgin coconut oil.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the plant's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP, and relevant food safety standards.
  • Ensure consistent documentation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of all QA-related processes.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and facilitate external certification audits.

B. Product and Process Quality

  • Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Evaluate and approve suppliers and materials in coordination with Procurement and Production.
  • Manage product sampling, sensory evaluation, shelf-life testing, and traceability systems.
  • Ensure that laboratory testing protocols are properly executed and that records are accurately maintained.

C. Food Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements (e.g., FDA, BFAD, DOH, and other statutory agencies).
  • Lead the implementation and review of the Food Safety Program (HACCP, GMP, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Monitor the plant's hygiene and sanitation performance, including corrective and preventive actions.

D. Leadership and Coordination

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate QA and laboratory personnel to ensure competence and high performance.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and EHS teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Prepare QA performance reports, trend analyses, and recommendations for management review.

E. Continuous Improvement

  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, process control, and efficiency.
  • Support innovation and product development activities through testing, validation, and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php130,000.00 per month
