About the role

Join the Leslie Farms Inc. as a Contract Grower Manager (Swine) in our Rosario Batangas location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our contract swine growers to ensure efficient and productive farm operations that align with the company's objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and monitor the performance of contract swine growers to ensure compliance with operational standards, productivity targets and animal welfare protocols
  • Provide technical guidance and support to contract growers to enhance their farming practices and productivity
  • Collaborate with growers to identify and address any operational issues or challenges in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed records of production, inventory, and financial data for each contract grower
  • Assist in the recruitment, training and performance evaluation of contract growers
  • Work closely with the broader farm management team to implement process improvements and best practices
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant agricultural, environmental and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar farm management or contract grower oversight role within the swine industry
  • Strong understanding of swine farming operations, including animal husbandry, feed management, disease prevention, and facility maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills to optimize farm productivity
  • Proficient in data analysis and the use of farm management software and technologies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with contract growers
  • Degree or diploma in agriculture, animal science, or a related field preferred
