Summary

A facilities technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical infrastructure of buildings, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Complete general facility maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and minor construction.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
  • Respond promptly to facility service requests and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Assist with office moves, furniture setup, and workspace changes.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies, tools, and replacement parts as needed.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
  • Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC System.
  • Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical System related to HVAC.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and diagnose system issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance with industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
