A. General Description of the Job

To serve as a channel for HMO members to acquire information, secure guarantee letter and to avail their medical benefits by providing quality healthcare service and wellness to satisfy the medical needs of HMO cardholders.

B. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Release/issue letter of authorization, secure approval and completing insurance and other medical forms.

2. Perform tasks such as answering phone calls, attends HMO's and patient's queries, verifying information and schedule of special procedure.

3. Performs call-out to MD's for confirmation of the Diagnosis or request.

4. Sorting of Doctor's consultation.

5. Sort and Log all Professional fees.

6. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

7. Perform other duties as assigned.

C. Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely use standard office equipment such as computers and telephone. The role is a full time position. Days and hours of operations are Mondays to Fridays 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturdays 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Holidays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. There will be an occasional evening and weekend duty as work demands.

Qualifications

1. College degree holder

2. 1 year experience in administrative work. Medical background is an advantage.

3. Must possess good oral and written communication skills.

4. Resilient and can work under pressure.

5. Computer literate and knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

6. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

7. Good verbal communication skills.

9. Strong sense of professionalism and discretion required.
