Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all facilities maintenance activities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, janitors, and external contractors.
  • Oversee facility-related budgets, purchase orders, and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and building regulations.
  • Coordinate renovation projects, space planning, and layout modifications.
  • Respond promptly to emergency facility issues such as power failures, leaks, or equipment breakdowns.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs within the organization.
  • Liaise with vendors, utility providers, and government agencies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facilities supervision, maintenance, or building operations.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety systems).
  • Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
  • Working knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and facilities management software (e.g., CMMS).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
