Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee complex, cross-functional financial projects within our BPO operations. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and project management expertise to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with the ability to manage competing priorities, engage with senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end financial projects, from planning and execution to delivery and post-project evaluation.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Client Services teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives in financial reporting, forecasting, compliance, and cost management.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable project goals.
  • Monitor project performance through KPIs, metrics, and reporting dashboards.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers or coordinators within the Finance function.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and BPO industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or PMP certification preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity within Finance or BPO/outsourcing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of financial operations, reporting, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
