Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Structural Engineer located in Alabang Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design, preparing calculations, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software. The Engineer will coordinate with project teams, assess and evaluate structural integrity, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves overseeing construction phases and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the structural design and review for residential, commercial, and land development projects
  • Ensure all designs comply with the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) and local building codes
  • Provide expertise in reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast systems, and AAC
  • Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and material specifications
  • Prepare, review and approve structural drawings, specs, BOQs and As-Built Plans
  • Oversee QA/QC for structural works during construction and coordinate with project management for issue resolution
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and support permitting processes
  • Deliver value engineering solutions to balance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
  • Support procurement by evaluating structural materials and suppliers
  • Coordinate with architects, MEPFS engineers, and construction management team for integrated project delivery
  • Mentor and guide junior structural engineers or apprentices within the team
  • Perform other engineering-related duties as may be assigned, consistent with the role's scope and expertise, to support overall project and company goals

Qualifications

  • Licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines and a good standing member of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP)
  • 5+ years experience in both structural design and site works
  • Proficient in structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD) and knowledgeable in BIM software (e.g., Revit)
  • Knowledgeable in concrete, steel, pre-cast, AAC and other construction materials
  • Experience in both horizontal and vertical projects
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment
