Job Description

  • In charge of all legal concerns of the company and the bosses, and coordinates these with retained lawyers to seek legal opinion when needed
  • Assists lawyers, if needed, in filing pleadings in court and quasi-judicial bodies
  • Reports/ Disseminates to the management important updates/information related to legal concerns and compliance
  • Leads in research as the need arises and updates the management with policy changes
  • Monitors compliance with government rules, particularly with the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), labor, and data privacy
  • Monitors submission of required reports to government agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), the National Privacy Commission (NPC), SEC, and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)
  • Takes part in disciplinary action discussion for erring employees; assists in drafting, reviewing and revising notices related thereto
  • Drafts and participates in reviewing company policies, contracts with clients, and other legal/corporate documents
  • Attends in the proceedings of DOLE (including DOLE audits), NLRC and other courts
  • Assists in drafting position paper, manifestations, memoranda, and letters/communications with clients/ government authorities
  • Attends meeting with clients when legal/contract issues are involved
  • Other tasks that may be assigned from time-to-time by immediate supervisor and Management

Job Qualifications:

  • College Graduate with background in law or paralegal skills. (Preferably Legal Management or Political Science).
  • At least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in contract management/review.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in a fully onsite set-up until further notice and must be amenable to work in Mandaluyong City.
  • Planning to attend or currently attending law school is an advantage.

Pay: Php 20, Php 25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
