The Role

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, as well as providing guidance and training to users. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Administer virtual environments, including:

  • Creating and deploying virtual machines, templates, and clones.

  • Monitoring and managing VMs, services, and using snapshots.

  • Troubleshooting VMs and environments; backup and replication.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot system and server issues.

  • Ensure scheduled backups are completed successfully within the allocated backup window, and address all errors or warnings.
  • Diagnose and rectify any problems related to AD, GPO, Windows, or Linux servers and services.
  • Manage users' and administrators' accounts in AD.
  • Manage security groups and group policies in AD.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Manage Cloud Applications such as the Microsoft O365 platform (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure Active Directory, and other Microsoft collaboration tools).
  • Manage Point of Sale centralization; installation, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Required Experience/Job Knowledge:

  • Microsoft O365
  • Linux System Administration
  • Windows Server Administration
  • VMware; deploying VMs; adjusting hardware specs, etc.
  • Storage Area Network
  • Backup management using Veeam Backup & Replication
  • POS management

What You'll Bring:

  • A degree in any IT-related field.
  • Must have at least 2-4 years of IT experience.
  • Willingness to work in Carlos Palanca, San Miguel, Manila.
