Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation of the "0" budget, or initial project budget, based on the Bid budget.
  • Participate in the control of all committed and incurred costs of the Project.
  • Always coordinate with the rest of the Project areas the collection of the objective information available to provide the best forecast of the Estimate to Complete (ETC) of the Project.
  • Anticipate any deviation detected in purchases, quantities and/or prices, as well as any deviation that may have an impact on costs.
  • Prepare Cost Control Reports for Project Management and Cost Management.
  • Collaborate with the Planning area in the tasks that require support of Cost Control and development of the cost of the activities programmed at least 9 months ahead.
  • Participate in the control of measurements of actual and expected consumption of the most significant resources.
  • Participate in the review and reliability of the measurement reported by Production/Technical Office of the work executed vs. planned cost.
  • Participate in the analysis of possible future cost risks based on recurring cost variances incurred.
  • Collaborate with the Production area in the monthly analysis of cost and schedule variances.
  • Collaborate with the Production area, making a detailed breakdown of costs.
  • Ensure compliance with Acciona's procedures and standards for Cost Control.
  • Perform monthly closings ensuring compliance with standards (dates, measurements, actual costs, transfer of information to other project departments).
  • Knowledge and experience in the usability of the SEO cost control tool. Functional Control Structure. Analysis of Economic Studies and Monthly Control Reports. Traceability of unit costs and measurements.
