Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting practices, financial reporting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and ready to contribute to our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial reports, records, and statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes by reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy.
  • Input data into accounting software and verify the accuracy of transactions.
  • Conduct research and compile data for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and payments tracking.
  • Maintain and update accounting documentation, files, and records.
  • Assist in preparing tax filings and audits as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
