About the role

TTC GROUP OF COMPANIES' is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough internal audits and providing valuable insights to help drive the continuous improvement of our operations across the TTC Group of Companies.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes
  2. Identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations to management to strengthen internal controls and mitigate risks
  3. Conduct detailed audits of various business functions, including financial, operational, and compliance-related activities
  4. Document audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and present recommendations to senior management
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to implement agreed-upon corrective actions
  6. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices within the Accounting industry
  7. Provide training and guidance to junior members of the audit team

What we're looking for

  1. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
  2. At least 5 years of experience in internal auditing or a similar role within a reputable organization
  3. Proficient in conducting risk assessments, developing audit plans, and executing internal audits
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex issues
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  6. Thorough understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory compliance
