Key responsibilities Customer Service

  • To be regarded by all customers, both internal and external, at every level, as a provider of outstanding customer service.

Estimating

  • Estimating for design and construction for civil & hydraulic custom projects.
  • Estimating / BOQ's for standard drainage and sewer products.
  • Quote / tender preparation and submission.
  • Work to required deadlines i.e., fast quote turnaround times.
  • Maintain an elevated level of skill and proficiency within your job role to minimise error rates

Requirements

  • 3+ Years experience (Qualification preferred) in Estimating or Quantity Surveying in an Engineering business, or similar role.
  • Experience in sub-ground water and sewer infrastructure, including technical understanding.
  • Experience in the preparation of bill of quantities (advantageous).
  • Be service focused - you connect well with people from all levels of the business, establishing great working relationships comes naturally to you.
  • Strong understanding of estimating processes including familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the innate ability to actively listen to the client.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be proactive and plan effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work to Australasian Working Hours
