HR/Accounting Asssistant

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting & HR Assistant to manage day-to-day accounting functions and Human Resources. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and solid knowledge of Philippine labor laws and BIR compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting (Primary Duties)
- Process all company payments and disbursements (reimbursements, operating expenses, supplier payments, and payroll-related payments)
- Check invoices and supporting documents for accuracy before payment
- Prepare payment vouchers, checks, and bank transfers
- Maintain accounts payable and payment records
- Record transactions and maintain basic bookkeeping entries
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing
- Process payroll and ensure employees are paid on time
- Handle contributions to SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG
- Prepare and submit BIR tax reports and requirements
- Track expenses and assist with budget monitoring
Human Resources (Secondary Duties)
- Assist in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and exit processing
- Maintain updated 201 files and employee records
- Prepare contracts and employee documents
- Assist with employee concerns and HR policy implementation
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee information
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate documentation and internal reports
- Coordinate with banks, government offices, suppliers, and partners
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related course
- 1–2 years of work experience in accounting, disbursement, or related roles
- Proficient in Excel (formulas, payroll sheets, and reports)
- Familiar with government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Knowledge of BIR processes and tax compliance is a plus
- Familiarity with the eGov / eGov PH system is an advantage
- Basic understanding of Philippine labor laws and HR processes
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Good communication and multitasking skills
- Certification is an advantage, but not required
Work Schedule
- Monday to Saturday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
