Asset and Liability Management Risk Officer

Role Overview:

This role will be responsible in monitoring the market and liquidity risks versus approved limits to ensure adherence to identified risk appetite and preparation of corresponding reports

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the weekly and monthly Asset and Liabilities Risk Management report
  • Monitors daily the Company's exposure to different Financial Institutions
  • Monthly monitoring of counterparty limits
  • Prepares Note 4 Financial Risk Management Disclosures such as Maturity Profile of Assets and Liabilities, Interest Rate Sensitivity Analysis and Foreign Exchange Rate Sensitivity Analysis
  • Prepares monthly Key Risk Indicator (KRI) report and trend analysis for market, liquidity, operational and regulatory risks
  • Performs all other related duties as may be assigned by the RMD Head from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in asset-liability management or market, liquidity, financial risk management, or treasury roles within financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, or investment firms.
  • ALM Risk Practioner
  • Knowledgeable in the preparation for these reports; ICAAP, MCO, IRRG, EAR
  • Understanding of risk management concepts, including interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and credit risk.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex financial concepts and reports to stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulators.
