KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies using SEMrush and related tools
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits
  • Optimise site structure, metadata, content, and internal linking
  • Monitor performance metrics via Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Stay updated on algorithm changes and SEO trends to maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure on-brand, search-optimised material

Technical & Web Development

  • Manage and maintain the GML website, ensuring performance, security, and functionality
  • Customise and optimise WordPress and/or other CMS platforms
  • Code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Use CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind to support clean, scalable design
  • Ensure responsive, mobile-first design and browser compatibility
  • Troubleshoot bugs and optimise speed and user experience

UX Collaboration & Portal Development

  • Work closely with our IT team to enhance the Customised Client Portal
  • Contribute front-end coding for improved UX, visual design, and interactive elements
  • Identify and implement UI improvements for efficiency and engagement

Content & Resource Hub Management

  • Upload and publish blogs, articles, and digital content
  • Manage and regularly update our Broker & Lender Resource Hub
  • Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices and current offerings
  • Collaborate across teams to keep branded and technical content accurate and engaging

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • With 2-3 years experience in a combined SEO and web development role
  • A confident self-starter with a passion for tech, optimisation, and innovation
  • Collaborative and clear communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Strategic in thinking, practical in execution, and focused on results
  • Experience with CMS integrations or API implementation
  • Familiarity with schema markup and video SEO
  • Design platform fluency (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Awareness of accessibility (WCAG) and UX design principles
