Responsible for:
As the Sr. Manager for Content Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's
content strategy to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, demand generation, and customer
engagement. This role will oversee the development of compelling content across multiple formats and
channels, ensuring consistency with the brand voice and alignment with business goals.
This position requires a creative and strategic individual with a strong understanding of B2B content strategy,
SEO, and audience engagement, capable of translating marketing objectives into effective content initiatives.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with the Marketing objectives, focusing on lead quality and conversion speed.
● Create, manage, and optimise high-quality, engaging content (e.g., posts, educational, success stories, case studies, website copy, ebooks, storyboards, social media content, email campaigns) tailored to different stages of the buyer's journey.
● Collaborate with industry partners, associations, and thought leaders to co-create high-value content pieces (e.g., joint research, executive interviews, partner spotlights) that expand reach and credibility.
● Build and manage the content calendar for the website and LinkedIn and ensure timely delivery of content assets.
● Ensure all content is SEO-optimised and aligned with brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
● Conduct ongoing research into industry trends, competitors, and audience insights to inform content planning.
● Collaborate with subject matter experts, design teams, and other Marketing functions to produce relevant and impactful content.
● Utilise marketing automation tools to effectively distribute content, nurture leads, and track content contribution to conversions.
● Analyse content performance using relevant metrics and data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to identify areas for improvement and optimise content strategies.
● Stay up-to-date with content marketing trends, best practices, and new technologies.
Core Competencies:
● Strong understanding of B2B content marketing principles, buyer personas, and journey mapping.
● Proven ability to develop and execute strategic content plans that drive engagement and conversions.
● Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with high attention to detail.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize content performance.
● Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
● Understanding of SEO best practices and keyword research.
● Creative problem-solving skills and a strong focus on audience experience.
● Agile and adaptable to changing market conditions and priorities.
Key Skills and Capabilities:
● Proven experience in B2B content strategy, creation, and management, in the outsourcing business.
● Expertise in various content formats and distribution channels.
● Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and content performance metrics.
● Strong project management skills to manage multiple content initiatives simultaneously.
● Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Understanding of lead nurturing and marketing funnel management.
Qualifications and Typical Experience:
● Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
● At least 7 years of experience in content marketing, preferably within BPO.
● Proven track record of creating successful content marketing campaigns that contribute to lead generation and conversion goals.
● Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
● Experience with SEO & SEM Tools (e.g. SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc.)
● Portfolio showcasing writing skills and successful content projects.
Other Position Requirements:
● Ability to work independently and take ownership of content strategy goals.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
● High level of adaptability to manage change and work in a fast-paced environment.
