We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to join our team. The role is primarily responsible for managing outgoing payments, reconciling vendor statements, ensuring data accuracy and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers through timely and professional communication.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate all billings and supporting documents from suppliers; reconcile billing issues as needed.
  • Create Accounts Payable (A/P) vouchers through SAP Business One.
  • Monitor and follow up on liquidation of cash advances from the operations team.
  • Review liquidation of cash advances (roro, airport loading, special trips, etc.) for Davao, Cagayan de Oro and General Santos, and encode them into SAP.
  • Review petty cash fund replenishments for Davao, Cagayan de Oro and General Santos, and create corresponding A/P vouchers.
  • Initiate requests for enrollment of new vendors in the Master Data Portal.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Financial Management or any related courses
  • At least 1 year of related experience
  • Proficiency in invoice and payment processing
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data
  • Proficiency in SAP Business One (preferred but not required)
