Job Title: Technical Interior Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience and with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate must have a solid technical background in interior design, with demonstrated capability in preparing detailed technical drawings, coordinating with design teams, and supporting projects from concept development through final delivery. This role requires close collaboration with the Design Team and the ability to produce precise, organized, and comprehensive drawing packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed and accurate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details using Revit or AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate closely with the Design Team to develop technical solutions that align with design intent, client requirements, and project standards.
  • Translate conceptual designs into well-coordinated technical drawing packages suitable for construction and site implementation.
  • Conduct research on materials, finishes, fixtures, and design standards to support project requirements.
  • Assist in space planning, layout development, and coordination of architectural elements to ensure functional and aesthetically pleasing design outcomes.
  • Review, update, and refine drawings based on feedback from senior designers, and project manager.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain strong coordination between design and technical to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of project documentation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in design software to enhance productivity and output quality.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a technical interior design role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory; proficiency in SketchUp or other design tools is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of interior design detailing, construction methodologies, and technical documentation standards.
  • Solid knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and locations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant technical drawings and completed projects is highly preferred.
